フルート奏者:セバスティアン・ヴィッティバー Sebastian Wittiber

Sebastian Wittiber, born in Frankfurt am Main, was a member of the Hessian State Youth Orchestra and the European Community Youth Orchestra (ECYO) as a teenager.

Trained by Vladislav Brunner at the University of Music and Performing Arts (HfMDK) in Frankfurt am Main, he became a member of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra at the age of 21.
He has held the position of solo flutist there since 1999 and is also a valued guest of major orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic, the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, the Dresden Staatskapelle, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra. Sebastian Wittiber worked with important conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Christian Thielemann, Andris Nelsons, Kirill Petrenko, Herbert Blomstedt and many more at home and abroad. He has been a permanent member of the Bayreuth Festival orchestra since 2007.
Wittiber taught at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. A worldwide audience follows his solo recordings on the HR Symphony Orchestra's YouTube channel with great interest. Chamber music with harp and baroque ensembles are another focus of his musicianship. As a flute soloist, he takes part in the Antares Ensemble, the woodwind octet of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the flautist Sebastian Wittiber and the organist Martin Lucker have had an intensive artistic partnership for more than 20 years.
