Andrea Lauren Brown (born 1973 in Wilmington, Delaware) is an American singer ( soprano ) and second prize winner of the 2003 ARD Music Competition .

Andrea Lauren Brown studied Music Performance and Education at West Chester University in Pennsylvania, USA, where she earned her Bachelor of Music summa cum laude. She earned her master's degree in singing education and solo singing from Westminster Choir College, Princeton, New Jersey. In 2003 she won the second prize of the ARD music competition in the category singing.

She has performed in the US and Europe. She has performed at the Komische Oper Berlin , at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden , at the Theater an der Wien , at the Wiener Konzerthaus , as well as at numerous festivals including the Schwetzinger Festspiele , the Villa Ludwigshohe , the Haydn Festspiele and the Ludwigsburg Palace Festival or the Kirchheim Konzertwinter , She collaborated with such conductors as Rinaldo Alessandrini , Frieder Bernius , Adam Fischer , Pierre Cao , Christoph Hammer , Martin Haselbock , Thomas Hengelbrock , Johannes Kalitzke , Tonu Kaljuste , Christoph Poppen and Stefan Vlader . Her repertoire ranges from early music to contemporary music.
