Les Favorites Barockorchester
Les Favorites is a German Baroque orchestra.
The ensemble includes renowned Baroque specialists, including Veronika Skuplik (violin) and Reinhold Friedrich (trumpet).
The orchestra is conducted by Holger Speck. It supports the vocal ensemble Rastatt instrumental, but also appears independently.
The formation is named after the Castle Favorite in Rastatt-Forch, which was built by the Margrave Augusta Sybilla of Baden from 1710, and whose architecture serves as a model for the musicians in their interpretations.
