フルート奏者:Marjolein de Wit

At an early age began flutist Marjolein de Wit her career as a flutist.

When she was ten years old she had her first lessons from Raymond Delnoye, known as a solo flutist include the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and the Brabant Orchestra. After a few years, Marjolein was hired as principal flutist with the Rotterdam Youth Chamber Orchestra.
With this orchestra she gave many concerts at home and abroad, and she also appeared several times as a soloist. During this time she also won several prizes at several Dutch music competitions.

From 1989 to 1994 she studied at the Conservatory in Tilburg, again at Delnoye. Here she graduated cum laude; her graduation was broadcast on the radio. She attended master classes with, among others Emily Beynon, Juliette Hurel, Mirjam Nastasi, Davide Formisano, Peter Lukas Graf and Matthias Ziegler. Marjolein de Wit performs regularly in the Netherlands and abroad, both as a soloist and chamber musician.

She is regularly featured in various music programs on television. In addition, she has several solo CD's to her name. Currently Marjolein de Wit is associated with flute quartet 'CROSS' and the Animato - Ensemble. She also gives recitals with her pianist Jelger Whites. Marjolein de Wit has extensive teaching practice, ranging from beginners to prospective music students. She also gives workshops and master classes.
