フルート奏者: Tünde Jakab

Tünde Jakab is an aspiring young flautist born in Slovakia into a Hungarian musical family.

Having both of her parents pianists she grew up surrounded by music. Since the beginning of her musical journey she won national and international competitions. Between 1999 and 2005 she was awarded seven 1st prizes and three special prizes with highest honours. Her latest competition successes were in 2013 when she recieved the 2nd Prize at the International Flute Competition ?Giovanni Musicisti“ and 3rd Prize in the Contemporary Music Competition Treviso, Italy.

At the age of 13 Tünde debuted as a soloist with the Slovak Philharmonic in Bratislava. She was invited to perform at numerous festivals and had the oportunity to work with renowned conductors and artists, such as Ondrej Lenard, Fritz Brucker, KS Renate Holm, Marelize Gerber, Mercedes Echerer, Kristina Szeredy, Marelize Gerber and others.

In 2010 Tunde debuted in the Golden Hall of the Musikverein in Vienna playing duetts alongside the legendary operetta diva Renate Holm, with whom she also had the chance to perform on several other occasions.

Tunde studied flute at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna und Prof.Helmut Schaller and Prof.Walter Wretschitsch. Later she continued her studies at the University of Music in Graz with Prof.Eszter Alfoldy-Boruss. At present she is completing her Masters studies with Prof.Dieter Flury.

In the 2015/2016 season Tunde was engaged as solo flute at the Slovak State Opera Kosice among other engagements. She gives numerous solo and chamber music recitals throughout Europe.。
