フルート奏者: Paula Martinez Bonfill

Born in Esplugues de Llobregat (Barcelona) 1989.

She began her musical studies at the age of four years at the "Institut Joan Llongueres" of Barcelona.

Continues her training at the "Conservatori Municipal de Musica de Barcelona" (CMMB) with flutist Dolors Serra, obtaining the first prize of flute students and a secondary award in chamber music.

Afterwards, she was accepted at "Escola Superior de Musica de Catalunya" (ESMuC) where she finished her bachelor studies in the speciality of flute performance and pedagogy with honours on the Final Academic Project. In the School she studied with the flutist Albert Mora and chamber music with Cuarteto Casals and Charles Tunell.

Between 2012 and 2015 she has improved her flute studies at "Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia" in Madrid with the flutists Jacques Zoon and Salvador Martinez Tos. In June 2014 she received from the hands of Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain the Prize as the "Best flute student of the academic year 2013-2014"Between the years 2005 and 2015 she has attended masterclasses with various flutists such as Julia Gallego, Vicens Prats, Magdalena Martinez, Alvaro Octavio, Carlos Bruneel, Samuel Coles, Barthold Kuijken, Aleksandra Miletic and Paco Varoch.

As a soloist, she was finalist in the Concert cycle "El Primer Palau 2014" playing in the concert hall of the Palau de la Musica Catalana. She has performed the Brandenburg Concert no5 of J.S.Bach as a soloist with the Camerata of the Escuela Superior Reina Sofia contucted by Antoni Ros Marba doing a tour around Spain. She has also played at the National Auditorium of Music in Madrid inside the concert cycle "El Primer Auditorio" (2015). She has been awarded in competitions such as "L'Arjau" and the "Concours Internationaux l'UFAM" in Paris. The year 2010 she was awarded with the "Anna Riera" scholarship addressed to young talented musicians.

In the orchestral field currently she is a member of "The World Orchestra", and collaborates with the "Orquestra de Cadaques," the "Orquesta de Valencia" and the "PuralEnsemble". In 2012 and 2013 she has been selected for the Academy project of the "Mahler Chamber Orchestra" (MCO) touring in Germany. She has been member of the "Orquesta de Camara Sony" and "Orquesta Sinfonica Freixenet" of the "Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia", the "Jove Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya" (JONC), the "Netherlands Jugend Orchester" (NJO), the "Orquesta del Encuentro de Musica y Academia de Sanander" and the "Joven Orquesta Nacional de Espana" (JONDE).These experiences have allowed her to work with directors such as Esa-Pekka Salonen, Gianandrea Noseda, Lutz Kohler, Pablo Heras-Casado, Jesus Lopez Cobos, Yaron Traub, Andres Orozco-Estrada, Victor Pablo Perez, Andras Schiff, Karl Anton Rickenbacher, Manel Valdivieso, Salvador Mas, Josep Vicent, Sergio Alapont, Franz Helmerson, Gunter Pichler and Josep Vicent.

In the field of chamber music, she is currently a member of "a3Ensemble". She has been a member of the "Quinteto Orfeo" and "Amadeus Group" taking lessons from Klaus Thunemann, Hansjorg Schellenberger, Radovan Vlatkovic, Dominik Wollenweber, Dag Jensen and Marta Gulyas. She has also been a member of "Trio Dewartt" (flute, viola and harp) and "Baroque Group" of the "Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia". With all these formations she has participated in various concert series as "Da Camera", "Ciudades Patrimonio", "Museo ABC de las artes y la ilustracion", "Cycle Primavera BBVA", "Musica als Parcs", "Serenates de la Geltru", "Cycle Joan Masia", "Music at the UB", "Cycle Mas i Mas", etc.
