アンサンブル: ル・コンセール・エトランジェ Le Concert Etranger

Created by Itay Jedlin in 2006, the foreigner Concert brings together young musicians from backgrounds as different as Paris, Athens, Montreal, Havana, Tokyo and Jerusalem, sharing the same passion of a faithful interpretation of the baroque repertoire, supported by one musicological and artistic research.

The overall originality lies in its workforce, which can range from the Quartet until a more comprehensive training, as an orchestra and a full choir. His continuo provided and varied can support an almost orchestral dynamics in Chamber music, or lead an intimate and detailed character in orchestral or vocal repertoire, while working the colours and the instrumental textures individual.

The foreigner Concert is anxious to put his concerts in musical and cultural, consistency in an expanded artistic moment which can refer to a liturgical time, a historical instrument, or even illustrate a place, its architecture and decoration. Some programs are based at the theatre, the ballet or poetry; all have the ambition to reveal these artistic affinities, by placing the music in his time, in his place, in the middle of her sisters.

The set has been in residence at the center of ancient music of Sarrebourg, occurred at the Festival Sinfonia in Perigord, in the city of the voice of Vezelay, in the Festival Marin Marais and Paris in several musical seasons of the Church Saint-Germain-des-Pres and in the Temple of the billets.

In 2014 all presented projects at the Midsummer Festival of Hardelot as well as the Festival of sand. The same year, the Festival of Ambronay invited the foreigner Concert to give the "Passion according to Saint Jean"of J.S. Bach, followed by 2015 by a re-enactment of his "Passion according to Saint Marc".

These two concerts were broadcast live by France Televisions.
