The Rotterdam Symphony Chorus is specially created to carry out high-level compositions that require a large chorus with a professional sound. In november 2013 debuted the Rotterdam Symphony Chorus with the brothers Lucas and Arthur Jussen in Ein deutsches Requiem by Johannes Brahms. It also carried out A Sea Symphony by Ralph Vaughan Williams with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, under James Gaffigan, and Beethoven's Ninth Symphony with the Arnhem Philharmonic Orchestra. One of the highlights was the premiere of the by Bob Zimmerman edited Choruses from John Adams ' The Death of Klinghoffer. With the BBC Symphony Orchestra shone the choir in november 2015 with Howells ' Hymnus Paradisi.
